  • Satya - yoga teacher

    Satya’s connection with yoga began in Mexico in 1998 following a spiritual search. She practised and studied a few healing modalities like zen shiatsu, Thai massage, and reiki . However, it was yoga that always was encouraged her to go deeper. Satya was already a physical education teacher.

    She decided to become a yoga teacher after a blissful savasana and she’s been teaching ever since. Satya is teaching a variety of yoga classes from Vinyasa to restorative to yoga conditioning and Nidra.

  • Mel - yoga teacher

    Mel has more than 30 years of experience in yoga and personal development. She is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher and Hormone Yoga Therapist (350+ IYTA), Mindfulness Practitioner and a Professional Certified Coach (ACC ICF). Every class is tailored around the student, to best support their needs and wants on that very day. Her regular students know to come with an intent for the class in their hearts to get the most out of the nurturing and energising sessions. Awareness for breath and the present moment is key in mindful yoga. Mel is teaching on Monday mornings.

  • Cami - massage therapist

    Cami moved to New Zealand from Chile in 2013 and found her home on Waiheke Island. During her travels, she spent three months in Bali, where she discovered her love for traditional Balinese massage. Inspired, she trained as a massage therapist and has been refining her skills ever since. Recently, Cami completed a deep tissue massage course, adding new tools and techniques to help you feel deeply relaxed and at ease in both body and mind.

    With a natural gift for caring and a gentle demeanor, Cami creates a warm, welcoming space where you can truly unwind.

  • Donna - yoga teacher

    After bravely stepping away from a secure yet unfulfilling corporate life, Donna is now an author, a transformational coach, speaker, facilitator, teacher and owner of Sandhana Retreat. Witnessing something shift in a client or that look of pure bliss light up their face is one her greatest joys. Donna understands the courage it takes to step out of our comfort zone and try something new, but often the greatest gifts are awaiting us when we do. She invites you to step in to your courage and join her at Sándhana and open yourself to the infinite possibilities that await you.

  • Macarena - Pilates teacher

    Originally from Argentina, Macarena decided to settle in New Zealand a few years ago.

    She was a dancer for many years, but after an injury she discovered a love for Pilates. And after that she found the gym and her love for training.

    She loves studying and having more tools to help her clients. She also a trained yoga teacher and personal trainer and she likes combining her knowledge from all this areas to create her classes.

  • Vassia - founder and managing director

    Vassia started her career as a beauty editor, crafting stories about the art of self-care, before transitioning into marketing for beauty, wellness, and events. After experiencing burnout, she found yoga—a practice that transformed her chaos into calm. Inspired, she launched her wellness business in 2019, hosting events that celebrated balance and connection. By 2020, she opened her first yoga studio, turning her passion into a thriving holistic wellness centre. Vassia now helps others find their own inner peace through curated experiences that blend relaxation and renewal.
